Meet Emily C.
LMSW
Hi there! My name is Emily Carleton and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey towards mental wellness. Originally from a small town in Southern Minnesota, I pursued my passion for helping others by obtaining a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota - Duluth. I recently moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area and have enjoyed all this community has to offer!
With years of experience working with youth ages 5-18, I bring a wealth of knowledge and empathy to my practice. I am particularly drawn to supporting youth with autism diagnoses and other behavioral disorders, guiding them through challenges and empowering them to thrive. Additionally, I specialize in working with high school-aged groups, focusing on motivation, school-related concerns, and conflict resolution skills.
I'm committed to creating a safe and nurturing space where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we'll work towards achieving your goals and fostering a sense of well-being in your life. I look forward to joining you on this journey towards healing and self-discovery!
In my free time, you'll often find me with my nose buried in a book or enjoying meaningful moments with loved ones. I'm an avid explorer, always seeking out new activities and adventures in the area. Whether it's hiking in the mountains or strolling along the coast, I'm continually inspired by the beauty of nature and the opportunity for growth it provides.
