Meet Tyrza

Mental Health Therapist

Tyrza Hoines is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in North Dakota and emphasizes practicing compassion, curiosity, and challenging clients to live their desired life. Growing up in central North Dakota, she has become an active advocate for people and issues in which mental health support may waiver. Tyrza utilizes an integrative approach to counseling with ingredients from a variety of theories including narrative, strengths-based, and existentialism. 

Her clinical experience include working with adults, college students, adolescents, veterans, homeless populations, hospital settings, and withdrawal management services. Tyrza received her Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Dakota State University, where she also completed undergraduate work in human development and family science, women and gender studies, as well as a minor in Spanish. 

As a fellow human, Tyrza enjoys exploring new places, watching movies, engaging in creative mediums such as photography, and spending time with loved ones including her golden retriever and fiancé.
